The director of the abolished Federal Drug Control Service Viktor Ivanov may become one of the deputy Minister of the Interior Vladimir Kolokoltsev. According to Kommersant, this was reported by several senior sources. It is assumed that the new deputy will oversee the Main Directorate for Control of Drug Control and on Migration, as well as International Cooperation Control and FMS.
Thus, sources noted, when the appointment of Ivanov, it will be possible to maintain operational services of the FSKN in working condition, whose employees will be transferred to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as well as a network of regional divisions of the State Directorate of State Control, in accordance with the Decree of the President.
One of the interlocutors of the publication emphasized that when the appointment of Ivanov, in its former form, the State Anti -Drug Committee may remain in the same form - the body coordinating the work of all federal structures in the framework of counteracting the illegal trafficking of drugs.
The appointment of Viktor Ivanov or his successor should be made this week, the source noted, since on April 12 a large international forum is planned - the third Moscow anti -drug ministry conference. The result of the event will be the development of a new global anti-drug policy for its presentation at a special session of the UN General Assembly on the global drug problem that will be held in New York from April 19 to 21.
Meanwhile, the publication claims, employees of the Central apparatus of the FSKN have already warned that they were looking for new places. In accordance with the presidential decree, ex-police officers of the drug police with a rank of no higher than the colonel will be able to work in the new anti-drug headquarters of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. In addition to the leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, in connection with the decree, it is ordered to submit their proposals for the new limit of the internal affairs bodies, taking into account the inclusion of former employees of the Federal Drug Control Service and the FMS.
On April 5, Vladimir Putin included the State Aircontrol and the Federal Migration Service in the structure of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. “I get out of the fact that the whole structure (GosnarkoKontrol. - Ed.) Will work self -sufficient, independently, but within the framework of the Ministry of the Interior,” the president said .
According to the decree, the State Directorate and the FMS are abolished, and their states are transferred to the staff of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and 30 percent of employees of the former migration service are reduced, while the reduction of drug police are not provided.
