Organizer of rally against bad roads fined for campaigning

One of the organizers of the rally against bad roads in Volgograd, Alexei Ulyanov, was fined 5,000 rubles by the Voroshilovsky District Court. This is reported by the portal V1.Ru. A protocol was drawn up against Ulyanov on the violation by the organizer of the public event of the established organization procedure (part 1 of article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses) due to the fact that he was campaigning, that is, he called on social networks to come to an uncoordinated event.

The rally took place on March 19, and on March 21 Ulyanov was summoned to the prosecutor's office to give explanations about the campaign. Ulyanov previously stated that the rally was agreed upon. He intends to appeal the court's decision.
