The prosecutor's office of Verkhnyaya Pyshma demanded that the city administration "harder suppress" uncoordinated public events. This was reported on April 7 by the city portal GrifonInfo.

According to the publication, the chief prosecutor Andrey Inshakov sent the corresponding requirements to the head of the city Vladimir Chirkov. The reason for this was the complaint of a resident of Verkhnyaya Pyshma, Ruslan Magamurov, who was fined 10,000 rubles for organizing a rally on November 14 against the development. Magamurov demanded that the prosecutor's office check the legality of the administration's refusal to approve the rally. The prosecutor's office, however, not only recognized the refusal as legal, but also concluded that the administration "did not take sufficient measures to stop the rally."

"Law is law. But we also understand that people who come to the rally may not know that they are being led to an illegal event. We will by all possible means inform the population about illegal meetings, for participation in which they may face a fine, or even criminal liability, ”the city administration commented on the requirement of the prosecutor’s office.

On November 14, in Verkhnyaya Pyshma were detained , according to various sources, from eleven to twenty participants in a protest against the construction of multi-storey buildings on the site of a playground . Reports were drawn up against ten people on violation of the rules for holding public events (under Article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses). Previously, the organizers of the action failed to achieve its approval. According to the publication UralInformaBureau, at the place where the action was originally supposed to be held, "repair work was simulated."
