The detained with St. Petersburg truckers was fined five thousand

The Vsevolozhsk City Court fined Andrei Orlov, detained along with St. Petersburg truckers on February 20 near the Mega-Dybenko shopping center on the outskirts of St. Petersburg, five thousand rubles. On Orlov, as on other detainees, protocols were drawn up under Part 2 of Art. 20.2 and Art. 19.3 Administrative Code. As the lawyer Valentin Pyshkin, who represented the interests of Orlov, told the OVD-Info, the court re-qualified Orlov’s accusation from the organization of an inconsistent event for participation (part 5 of article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses), and the case of disobedience to the legal requirements of the police closed due to the lack of an offense.

On February 20, the truckers who got up by the camp near the shopping center were detained for posters on cars that the police demanded to remove. Orlov, according to the lawyer, had no relation to the protest of the truckers, but simply came to the shopping center and saw a familiar car, went up to him, talked with people sitting there and got inside, as a result of which he was detained with the truckers.

At the meeting, police officers were interrogated, one of whom, according to Pyshkin, said that he saw Orlov sitting in a car in a driver and that Orlov told him that he had come to declare his civil position. The lawyer intends to appeal the court decision. Previously, he appealed a similar decision regarding the trucker Vadim Yatsuk.
