The head of the Duma faction "Fair Russia" Sergey Mironov Wikipedia.orgThe leader of “Fair Russia” Sergei Mironov will be the only representative of the party in the federal part of the list in the upcoming elections to the State Duma. Mironov himself told Kommersant himself during his visit to Perm. According to him, this should help the Socialist Revolutionaries get as many mandates as possible. Candidates to the lower house of parliament in single -mandate districts and regional groups in the party will be determined at the second part of the congress, which will be held in the third decade of June. The first part of the congress is scheduled for April 22-23.
Mironov recalled that all the regional branches of the Socialist Revolutionaries were set up “combat mission” in the autumn elections and in regional parliaments to take no lower than second place. “I set a very clear and unambiguous combat mission - our party, following the election of deputies of the State Duma of the seventh convocation, to take no less than the second place. In other words, 100% to get ahead of the Communist Party by the number of deputies and try to compete with United Russia, ” said the head of the Duma faction.
By the way, at the Congress of the Socialist -Revolutionary Party, the chairman of the party will also have to choose. In an interview with Russia 24 , Mironov did not rule out that he would be re -elected to this post. “If my comrades trust me to lead the party, I will be happy to stay in this post, because I believe that today before the election campaign, I have already announced that in the federal part of the list of our party there will be one surname - mine, the party chairman, it would probably be right, but this will be decided by my comrades,” Mironov said.
The leadership of the SR will form part Spaces according to the usual scheme. This means that a number of regional groups will staff the key candidates in order to increase the chances of their passage to the State Duma. Earlier, Mironov expressed confidence that the current elections to the State Duma “will be more honest than in 2011” thanks to the appointment of Ella Pamfilova to the post of chairman of the CEC.

He referred to the March research of VTsIOM, according to which the Socialist -Revolutionaries are able to gain 6% of the vote, when their result previously fluctuated around 3%. According to Khomyakov, the growing popularity of SR is associated with attempts by its members to "go to the people." The political scientist believes that the Socialist Revolutionary program will be articulated around social policy.
“Today, voters' moods are changing quite rapidly. In the wake of deaf dissatisfaction, the Russians can support anti -crisis measures, which the SR considers primary, ”Khomyakov could support. Under these conditions, the promises of the Socialist Revolutionaries to introduce a progressive income tax scale, to cancel the collection for overhaul and the transport tax play in favor of Mironov, the expert believes.
Studies of the Levada Center demonstrate other results. According to February surveys, “Fair Russia” does not fall into the State Duma, only 3% of respondents are ready to vote for it. Only three parties overcome the barrier - United Russia (39%), the Communist Party (10%) and the LDPR (5%). Sociologists note that the result of the elections will depend on the development of the economic situation, but, most likely, United Russia will continue to lose popularity. However, this does not mean that the rest of the parties will be able to win the votes of voters who were disappointed in the EP, since at the same time confidence in the work of the parliament as a whole falls.

Only 12% of Russians surveyed believe that the State Duma "is actively working, adopting the laws necessary for Russia."
