A criminal case has been opened into the murder of two nurses in the district military hospital on Suvorovsky Avenue in St. Petersburg. The key suspects are escaped psychiatric patients.

According to Fontanka , the military investigation department of the Armed Forces of Ukraine of the Investigative Committee for the St. Petersburg garrison opened a criminal case under Part 2 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code (murder of two persons by an organized group by prior conspiracy).

Earlier, RBC reported that in the 442nd district military hospital named after. Z.P. Solovyov two murdered nurses were found on Suvorovsky Prospekt in St. Petersburg. The women's bodies were found at 00:27 Moscow time. At the same time, doctors discovered the disappearance of three servicemen who were undergoing treatment.

All operational services of St. Petersburg are involved in the search for military personnel. According to Fontanka, the airport and train stations of St. Petersburg are under increased control. For now, they are looking for patients from the military hospital within the boundaries of St. Petersburg.

According to media reports, the fugitives are united only by the time of hospitalization (late March) and the year of birth - 1997. Their diagnoses and places of service and birth are different. One of them is a contract serviceman of the Internal Troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the second is a conscript soldier, an ordinary mechanic of a technical support platoon, and the third is a freshman at the Mozhaisky Military Space Academy from Voronezh.

The dead nurses, aged 63 and 52, were civilian personnel. One was found to have four stab wounds, the other was strangled.

The airport and train stations of St. Petersburg are taken under increased control
