© The Man Booker PrizesOn Wednesday, April 13, a short list of finalists of the 2016 International Buker Prize was published. It included six books of writers from Austria, Angola, Italy, China, South Korea and Turkey.
According to the Prize website , each of them will receive a thousand pounds, and 50 thousand will share the author and translator of the novel, recognized as the best.

The jury notes the geographical and thematic diversity of the works selected in the short list: from the war in Angola to the mafia in Naples, from the mountains of Austria to Istanbul, from South Korean metamorphosis to great hunger in China.
Yan Lyanke was already the finalist of the international booker in 2013 , the rest of the authors will be nominated for the first time, including the 2006 Nobel Prize laureate Orhan Pamuk.
The winner of the International Boker will be announced on May 16 at the London Museum of Victoria and Albert.
