An interrogation was held of a deputy of the Kursk Regional Duma and the chief editor of the newspaper "People's Journalist" Olga Li, who is suspected of slandering a judge and inciting hatred and enmity towards prosecutors and judges.
Lawyer Roman Lyzlov, representing Lee's interests, reports:
Today we petitioned for the transfer of the case to the Investigative Committee of Russia for the objectivity of the investigation of this case. They pointed out that we do not understand the suspicion, namely, which statements and in relation to which social group each of them incites hatred and discord. On slander, they were also asked to explain which particular phrase in the newspaper article testifies to Olga Li's accusation of a judge of making a deliberately unjust decision. In this regard, it is not clear to us under what circumstances to testify. They also indicated that after these clarifications, we are ready to testify. Also today we were acquainted with the resolutions on the appointment of examinations. We asked us to provide these resolutions, after which we will file a petition for these examinations
