The starving Savchenko has a vessel burst

The Ukrainian hostage Nadezhda Savchenko, who continues a dry hunger strike, bursts. This was reported by "5 Channel" with reference to the sister of the captive Vera Savchenko, who on Saturday visited the starving in the SIZO-3 in Novocherkassk.

The sister of the political prisoner said that until April 20, Savchenko will put droppers. At the same time, she noticed, it was very difficult to put them, since the vessels of the starving steel are very fragile and burst as soon as the needle is inserted into them.

Vera Savchenko also said that her sister began to take a shower. On April 8, on the third day of a dry hunger strike, the prisoner refused to use a shower and washbasin - as the lawyer Ilya Novikov explained, "in order not to give a reason for speculation of cotton media." A change in the decision, said the prisoner’s sister, Savchenko explained to the feeling that "hesitates from the inside."

Sunday - the 12th day of the dry hunger strike Savchenko. Until April 6, she held the same campaign from March 4 to 10, and the rest of the time since December 18, 2015 she held a regular hunger strike - without refusing water. The prisoner’s demand is immediate release and return to Ukraine.

On the eve of the Ukrainian social activist Elena Kirichenko reported on her FB page that on Sunday on the Kiev Square of Independence, an action will be held in support of Savchenko. “Also the purpose of this action,” added a social activist, “is a pressure on the authorities with a request to take immediate and effective measures to free Savchenko from captivity.”

Earlier, a member of the PMC of the Rostov Region Valentina Cherevatenko stated with reference to a doctor who examined Savchenko that to transfer the starvation in the colony of "equivalent to death" . The prisoner is rapidly losing weight, she has very little saliva and urine.

On Friday evening, US Secretary of State John Kerry, in a telephone conversation with the head of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Sergei Lavrov, urged Savchenko and other prisoners, as well as fulfill the Minsk agreements.

In turn, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry called on Moscow to immediately allow Ukrainian doctors to Savchenko, which the Russian authorities are still refused. Kiev also called for "fulfilling the previously stated requirements for her (Savchenko. - Ed.) To release and return to Ukraine in accordance with the norms of international law and Minsk agreements."
