FSB in Buryatia aroused against the 33-year-old blogger from Ulan-Ude Vladimir Hagdaev the case of public calls for separatism over the Internet. This was announced on Friday by the Center "Owl". Part 2 of Article 280.1 of the Criminal Code, Hagdaeva threatens up to five years in the colony.
Facsimile of the decision on the initiation of the case issued on March 27 by the investigator of the regional headquarters of the special services by the lieutenant of justice O. Botoev, placed in his blog by the Ulan-Udinsky civilian activist Erdem Gomboev.
On March 30, the judge of the Oktyabrsky District Court of the Buryat capital, Ivan Temnikov, authorized the search of the house with Hagdaev, satisfying Botoev’s petition, supported by the senior assistant to the district prosecutor Elena Ivanova.
As can be concluded from the publication on the VK page Hagdaev, which he leads under the pseudonym Genghis Bulgadaev, the search took place the next day. What exactly was seized, the blogger did not specify.
On the pages of Hagdaev on VKontakte and Facebook, posts continue to appear. This suggests that the blogger remains free. Nevertheless, he did not convey any information about the further progress of the case - even his procedural status is unknown. Messages "Owls" and Gomboev also do not contain more fresh information.
As follows from the decision of Botoev, the case was instituted on the fact of publication on the VK page leading under the name of Genghis Bulgadaev, some calls "aimed at violating the territorial integrity of the Russian Federation." The posts dated to time from September 30, 2014 to January 16, 2015 are attributed in the document to the "unidentified person." Specific publications that have become the reason for initiating the case are not indicated in the resolution.
According to Owl, many posts on the Genghis Bulgadayev page are designed in the spirit of radical Buryat nationalism, "and one of them represents a quote that mentions a purely hypothetical possibility of separating Buryatia from Russia. There are no calls for violence in these publications.
It is also noted that Hagdaev led the VK group , in which the ideas of a panmongholism were discussed. This group was included in Roskomnadzor in a single register of prohibited sites, after which the VKontakte administration closed it. The page of Genghis Bulgadayev RKN was blocked by the "Lugovo Law", but it is available through anonymizers.
As Gomboev explains, modern panmongogolism does not advocate the unification of all Mongolian peoples into one state, but is talking only about their cultural cooperation.
It is also reported that Hagdaev criticized the abolition of the Ust-Horde Buryat Autonomous Okrug. In 2008, this subject of the Federation was united with the Irkutsk region.
