She made such a statement in her speech at a rally in support of the prisoner, held on Sunday on Independence Square in Kyiv. “Think, generals and admirals, ministers, think about what our nation is destroyed,” Savchenko -Sr. said. “Already destroyed the color of our Ukrainian nation. When there was a war in 41-45, the draftees were up to 50 years. Now they have been making conscripts up to 60 years. It is already pensioners.”

“Every creature came to our land and kills us,” concluded Maria Savchenko. “Why should they kill us?”

The day before, Vera Savchenko, a prisoner sister, said after a meeting with Nadezhda Savchenko in a pre -trial detention center that the vessels burst at the starving when the needles of droppers were inserted into them. The fragility of blood vessels was the result of a dry hunger strike of the prisoner.

Savchenko’s droppers will be put until April 20, her sister noted.

She also said that Savchenko began to take a shower.
