Those detained on suspicion of kidnapping a girl in the trunk of a Bentley car told the police that they staged a prank in order to "test the vigilance of the residents of the capital." It is reported by Interfax.
“According to the young people, these actions were a test of the reaction of citizens to the offense being committed,” the agency quotes the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Moscow.
Later, the police reported that the detainees would be brought to administrative responsibility under the article "petty hooliganism."
The matter is being investigated and a decision will be made on the basis of the results.
