The Foreign Ministry of India called the time of the BRICS summit

The BRICS countries will be held in Goa, said the Minister of Foreign Affairs of India Sushma Swaraj, reports Interfax .

According to Swaraj, the summit will pass in the fall. “We are waiting for the active participation of all members of the BRICS during our chairmanship, we hope for the successful organization of the Summit in Goa in October,” the minister said.

BRICS includes Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa. Earlier, the German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier expressed hope for the return of the Russian Federation to G8. At the same time, he noted that this year this format is unlikely to be revived, since for the return of the Russian Federation the Russian Federation should actively participate in the political decision of the crisis in Ukraine and in the continuation of the settlement of the Syrian crisis.
