“Together with the mother of Nadezhda Savchenko Maria Ivanovna and sister Vera asked Nadia to stop the hunger strike. Earlier on Tuesday, Poroshenko said that during a telephone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin, he managed to coordinate the algorithm for the release of Savchenko . "I have repeatedly stated that I am ready to use all the levers that are at my disposal as the President of Ukraine, for the speedy return of Nadezhda Savchenko and other citizens of Ukraine to his homeland and I emphasize that when it comes to human life, you need to discard any policy and ensure an early return. That is why I initiated this conversation with Putin. that we managed to coordinate a certain algorithm for the liberation of hope, ”Poroshenko said.

“Today I will meet with my mother of hope and sister, I will be given the relevant instructions to the Ministry of Justice in order to work out other mechanisms. The Minister of Foreign Affairs and this difficult work, I think, should end as soon as possible with the return of hope of home. At least I noted that I was ready to send the presidential aircraft with my representatives to take hope home and return it to Ukraine as soon as possible,” - noted the president.
