
The agricultural complex named after N. I. Tkachev, belonging to the family of the former governor of the Krasnodar Territory, the Minister of Agriculture Alexander Tkachev, first entered the top ten largest owners of the agricultural lands of Russia, writes Vedomosti with reference to the Consulting company BEFL.
The holding, according to Befl, has 456 thousand hectares of land, in the ranking it was in sixth place, a year earlier it took 16th place. In 2015, the Tkachev agricultural complex acquired 170 thousand hectares of land from the South Russian company Valinor, the newspaper recalls.
The first place in the ranking was taken by the company “Prisiex and Agriculture” with 790 thousand land hectares, the second and third - “Miratorg” and “Rusagro”, they have 594 thousand hectares each.
The profit of the Tkachev agricultural complex over the year increased by 60% to 6.6 billion rubles. The holding includes about 60 companies, including about 22 thousand employees.
The holding was created in 1994. After the death of the father of Minister Nikolai Tkachev, the organization was named in his honor. Among the shareholders there is also brother Tkachev Alexey. The minister himself in January asked to check the company for a conflict of interests, the decision was not yet reported to the government.
