White Slaver. "Revel"

The Moscow group of White Slaver, founded by Aaron Fish and the vocalist of Iva Tuyevskaya, plays gloomy romantic music using ancient electronic instruments. On the new mini-album, the groups are sounded by the cult sampler Emulator 3 and the TR 606 drama machine. The minimalist songs were recorded alive for the AKAI vintage recorder. White Slaver - supporters of raw sound and natural result. In 2014, the group recorded its previous, debut, record at the Dewar's Powerhouse studio is also alive.

Sound -player Pavel Nikolsky, who became the third member of the group, took part in the work on Revel .

For me, this is a very naked job. We did not use drowned studio rooms, but, on the contrary, recorded a voice in the bathroom with its natural specific acoustics. We wanted to achieve maximum naturalness both in terms of reverb and in terms of execution. The vocal paths were recorded in one double and without the subsequent “tun” so that honesty and immersion are preserved in them, and not the technical capabilities of modern recording studios. In these songs, I do not try to “hide”.
