The Bashkortostan prosecutor's office approved an indictment in a criminal case against 26-year-old drummer Arkady Chistyakov. He is accused of committing three robberies against the offices of microfinance organizations (Part 2 of Article 162 of the Criminal Code), according to the website of the regional prosecutor’s office.
According to investigators, the man waited until there were no customers left in the salons and, threatening with a knife, forced the managers to hand over money from the cash register and safe. To avoid identification, the rock musician hid his face behind a scarf and glasses. From November 2015 to January 2016, Chistyakov stole more than 83 thousand rubles.
When Chistyakov attacked another office, an employee of the organization handed him banknotes from the Bank of Joke. He mistook it for real money and fled the scene of the crime. The rock musician admitted his guilt and told investigators that he robbed the offices of microfinance organizations to pay off his debt on microloans.
