In the Altai Territory, a prisoner of IK-10 died after being beaten by other convicts

In correctional colony No. 10, located in the city of Rubtsovsk, Altai Territory, a 35-year-old prisoner died a few days after being beaten by other convicts, the Investigative Committee reports .

Investigators opened a criminal case under Part 4 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code - intentional infliction of grievous bodily harm, resulting in his death through negligence.

Presumably, on the afternoon of April 14, a prisoner was beaten on the territory of the colony by two other convicts. The victim later died in a medical facility.

At the same time, the department does not report the appearance of suspects or accused in the case. Investigators will check the actions of correctional colony employees who “allowed the death of a prisoner.”
