Mikhail Khodorkovsky believes that the court decision in the Hague to cancel the payment of $ 50 billion in the suit of the shareholders of the Yukos indicates that "the West decided to weaken the pressure." The ex-head of Yukos wrote about this on Twitter.

On Wednesday, the Gaaga District Court satisfied the complaint of Russia and canceled the decision of the arbitration court adopted in July 2014 to pay $ 50 billion to former shareholders of the Yukos. The district court found that the arbitration had no jurisdiction in relation to this process. Representatives of the plaintiffs said they would appeal the decision.

Earlier, the press secretary of the ex-head of Yukos Kulle Pispanen rejected the charges of the Investigative Committee, who stated that the entrepreneur illegally acquired Yukos shares . She also noted that Khodorkovsky has not been the “beneficiary of Yukos” for more than ten years and has nothing to do with the lawsuit of the company's shareholders.
