Rosselkhoznadzor after grenades and peppers banned the import of eggplant from Turkey

Rosselkhoznadzor announced the introduction of temporary restrictions on the supply of eggplant from Turkey. According to the press release of the department, the ban on the import of vegetables will begin to operate on April 25.

As explained in Rosselkhoznadzor, it was decided to apply the restrictions “in connection with the ongoing receipt from Turkey of commodity baids, infected with quarantine organisms for Russia”.

On April 19, the Rosselkhoznadzor said that the inspectors of the department found in the party of Turkish eggplant weighing almost 16 tons of Western (California) floral triples in live state.
