Acceleration of clouds over Moscow on Easter will cost 86 million rubles

The Moscow authorities will allocate 85.9 million rubles from the city budget for the weather protection of the capital on May 1. As reported on the public procurement website , the customer was the Moscow City Council "Moscow City Specialized Administration for Expertise, repair and maintenance of road facilities".

As Interfax notes , in recent years the Moscow authorities have never dispersed the clouds over the city on May 1. Good weather was provided according to tradition only on the Victory Day on May 9, on the day of Russia on June 12, and on the day of the city, which traditionally falls on the first weekend of September.

This year, on May 1, there is not only the Pervomaisky holiday, but also Easter at the Orthodox.

The technology of overclocking the clouds on holidays in Moscow has been worked out for a long time. Weight protection is provided by special aircraft using granular carbon dioxide, liquid nitrogen and special cement.

In 2015, 430 million rubles were allocated for workshop work during the holidays in Moscow. In 2014 - a little more than 180 million rubles, in 2013 - a little more than 180 million rubles, in 2012 - 192 million rubles, in 2011 - about 150 million rubles.
