Those who want to look at the launch of the Soyuz-2.1A launch vehicle will gather in the central square of Belogorsk, the head of the press service of the city administration Marina Zinger told Interfax . “Before the start of 9:00 local time (03:00 Moscow time), the film“ White Sun of the Desert, ”the agency’s interlocutor said on the street screen.

Zinger recalled that the legendary film about the Red Army soldier Sukhov "watched Russian astronauts before the flight", so the city administration decided to start festive events precisely from the show of this picture. “For veterans and elderly people, they provided seats - we install park sofas on the square,” the head of the press service said.

In addition, the authorities of Belogorsk plan to establish several telescopes on the city square so that local residents are able to observe the launch of the rocket. This item, according to the interlocutor of the publication, has already been listed on the presidential schedule. Two days before the start, the curator of construction in the government, Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin, will also arrive at the object, who will listen to the final reports on the readiness of the systems for launching a launch vehicle and hold a number of final meetings.

The launch of the Soyuz-2.1A launch vehicle with the Volga Board and a bunch of three spacecraft (Lomonosov, AIST-2D and SAMSAT-218) from the Vostochny Cosmodrome is planned at 05:01 Moscow time. For the start, the reserve day is determined - April 28, necessary for security in the case of force majeure (for example, poor weather conditions or manifested during preparation for the launch of technical problems).

At the same time, it was initially planned to be completely built and commissioned in 2015, the first launch was scheduled for the end of December. However, during the construction there was a serious lag from the schedule. For this reason, representatives of the country's leadership, including the head of state, have repeatedly visited the construction.

In October 2015, Putin suffered the first launches from the Cosmodrome in the spring of 2016, hoping that everything would be ready for the Cosmonautics Day on April 12. But this plan could not be realized.

During a recent speech to the State Duma, the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev recalled that the construction of all objects of the first stage of the Eastern Cosmodrome is planned to be completed during 2016.

Over the years of construction, East has become the most expensive cosmodrome in the world. The implementation of the project was accompanied by a series of large scandals with large -scale theft, detention of officials and problems with the payment of salaries of workers. In total, about 20 criminal cases were instituted.

It is assumed that the Eastern one, which will become the first national cosmodrome of civil purposes, will ensure full Russia's access to space and reduce the dependence of domestic cosmonautics on Kazakhstan Baikonur.
