The price of the North Sea mixture of Brent oil on the London ICE exchange on the evening of April 28 reached $48 per barrel. As of 20:59 Moscow time, Brent is trading at $48.02 per barrel.
The cost of American oil WTI by the evening reached $46 per barrel.
- At the end of 2015 and the beginning of 2016, world oil prices accelerated their fall, dropping below $30 per barrel. In this regard, the Russian government discussed the possibility of adjusting the budget for 2016, calculated on the basis of the average annual price of Urals oil (calculated from the price of Brent) at $50 per barrel. In April, it was decided to postpone changes to the budget until autumn.
