The court of the Murmansk region sentenced the perpetrators of the murder of the Azerbaijani merchant , who was shot in the vegetable warehouse of the Khibinsky market along with a relative and guard. The cause of the reprisal was the redistribution of the spheres of influence.
By a court decision, the accused Alexander Valuev will spend 15 years behind bars, and his accomplice Gabib Islam Nuriyev is 22 years old. They will serve his sentence in a maximum security penal colony, the official website of the regional department of the IC of the Russian Federation reports.
Convicted Valuev and Nuriev are brothers, clarifies RIA Novosti .
It was established that the persons involved in the criminal case, "being aware of the entrepreneurial activity of two victims engaged in the sale of fruit and vegetable and crop production in the territory of the Murmansk region, decided to commit their murder in order to redo the spheres of influence in the specified area." At the same time, the department did not specify whether the executors acted on their own initiative or whether the crime had customers.
In early December 2013, Valuev and Nuriev illegally purchased a firearm rifled weapons, after which they arrived in the Khaibinsky market in Murmansk and shot three people.
Two of the victims - the Saadi Sahban -Ogly of the Azizov and the guard Nariman Ali -Ogly Akhunds - died at the scene. The third victim was a relative of Saadi - the owner of the warehouse Gabib Safi -Ogly Kerimov. He was sent in a coma to the hospital, where Kerimov died two weeks later.
All those killed are members of the Azerbaijani diaspora of Murmansk and were busy in the field of trade. In particular, the father of three children, Gabib Kerimov, owned a whole network of commercial objects, including the Karina shopping center and Agraba restaurant. And Saadi rented a warehouse from a relative to trade in vegetables. The deceased had a wife and two children.
It was previously noted that for some reason, the killers did not touch the woman who served as deputy Gabib Kerimov. “All objects in Murmansk are decorated on it. She says that she did not see anything and moved away from shock,” said Athel Huseynov, chairman of the Murmansk branch of the All -Russian Azerbaijan Congress.
Suspects in a triple murder were detained in Voronezh, and then transferred to Murmansk.
During the investigation, more than 20 examinations were carried out - several molecular genetic, chemical, biological, the production of which was carried out both in expert institutions located in the Murmansk region and beyond. Investigators also organized 10 confrontations, more than 15 searches and the recesses of objects, which were subsequently recognized as material evidence in the criminal case, over 70 witnesses were interrogated.
Valuev was found guilty of p. "F, s" part 2 of Art. 105 ("Murder committed by a group of persons by prior conspiracy from selfish motives") and part 1 of Art. 222 ("illegal wearing of firearms and ammunition") of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. Nuriev, in addition to similar accusations, was charged with paragraph "a" of part 2 of Art. 105 ("Murder of two or more persons") of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
The lawyers of the convicts insisted that they had an alibi, the TV-21 channel reported. “At the time of the crime, the accused Valuev took loans at the bank, which is confirmed by the relevant agreements. And there are a lot of people who were with them in Voronezh on this day,” said defender Alexander Popov.
But Nuriev, according to lawyer Oksana Korchagina, was at the time of the murder in Murmansk, but he allegedly has Alibi. “At that time he was generally in the bathhouse, as a number of witnesses were talking about, but no one checked this version. We ourselves were forced to install this bathhouse, communicate with people,” she said.
