Extension of arrest term for Crimean Tatars accused of terrorism recognized as legal

On April 28, the Supreme Court of Crimea upheld the decision to extend the detention period until June 8 for four participants in the first Crimean case of Hizb ut-Tahrir - Emir-Usein Kuk, Enver Bekirov, Muslim Aliyev and Vadim Siruk. This was announced on his Facebook page by lawyer Emil Kurbedinov.

“The court did not accept a single argument of the defense and upheld the decision of the court of first instance to extend the terms of detention for Muslim Aliyev, Emir-Usein Kuku, Enver Bekirov, Vadim Siruk,” Kurbedinov wrote.

On April 27, the prosecutor of Sevastopol, Igor Shevchenko, approved the indictment in the first Hizb ut-Tahrir case filed on the territory of the peninsula, four people are also involved in it. The case was sent to the North Caucasian District Military Court of Rostov-on-Don.
