Vera Savchenko will be allowed to leave Russia

The sister of the famous Ukrainian pilot Vera Savchenko, who is in the Consulate General of Ukraine in the Rostov region, is allowed to leave Russia. This is reported by TASS with reference to a source in law enforcement agencies.

The decision to restrict the exit from Russia in connection with the announcement of Vera Savchenko on the federal wanted list has been canceled.

upd. As lawyer Ilya Novikov wrote on Twitter, Vera Savchenko “Vera Savchenko is in Ukraine. Thanks to everyone who participated."

The FSB also explained the detention of Vera Savchenko's car at the Russian border: according to the service, she is wanted in a case of contempt of the Chechen court.

It was about the criminal case initiated against her in Chechnya under part 2 of article 297 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (contempt of court, expressed in insulting a judge).
