The trial of Demushkin will be held closed

The meeting in the case of the former leader of the prohibited ethnopolitical association "Russian" Dmitry Demushkin will be held closed. This was announced by Gazeta.ru by the nationalist himself.

"The judge was motivated by the fact that the case under consideration is devoted to the crime against the foundations of the constitutional system of Russia, and closed the process. We will definitely appeal this decision, since we consider it illegal," Demushkin said.

At the same time, as notes the publication, the Criminal Procedure Code of Russia provides only three grounds for closing the process from the press. This is that the court considers the case of a crime against the sexual integrity of the citizen, the case, which contains information containing state secrets or information affecting the personal interests of minors.

On the merits of the case against Demushkin, the Nagatinsky court of Moscow will begin on May 6. On May 11, the Supreme Court will consider the nationalist’s complaint about the ban on the “Russians” movement.

In mid -April, it became known that the Demushkin case was transferred to court. According to the politician, after a second examination conducted at the insistence of the defense, only one episode of seven remained in the case. (Meanwhile, back in early March , not about seven, but eight episodes of the case were mentioned . At what stage the eighth episode was excluded from the prosecution is unknown.)

The remaining only episode, according to RAPSI, is the publication of Demushkin on the personal VK page of the photograph of the banner from the 2014 Russian Marsh with the inscription "Russia of Russia".

The politician added that he submitted an application to the police officers who missed a banner with a prohibited slogan on the march. Earlier, he noted that the text of the stretch was agreed with the police and there were no problems with this banner on the march itself.

The case against Demushkin is open under part 1 of Article 282 of the Criminal Code (excitement of hatred or enmity), which provides for the four years of the colony. On December 4, 2015, politics was interrogated in the TFR as a suspect. The interrogation was held with the participation of FSB officers. Then the investigator promised the former leader of the "Russians" that "he would not get off with a conditional term."

On December 9, Demushkin was a search. After that, he was taken to the TFR, where he was charged . Then they took a recognizance not to leave the policy.

At the same time, in August 2015, the Demushkin VK page was removed in connection with the decision of the Nagatinsky District Court, who arrested the politician for 15 days under Article 20.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (public demonstration of prohibited paraphernalia).

On March 3, 2016, the investigation was completed . On the 31st, Demushkin’s case was sent to the prosecutor's office .

Meanwhile, on January 23 it became known that Rosfinmonitoring included a policy in the list of terrorists and extremists . Now he is prohibited from any financial and credit operations in the country.
