Beyoncé released one of the most noticeable albums of the year

Beyoncé on April 23 released her sixth Lemonade album on Tidal's streaming service. Together with him, a musical film was released, telling about treason and forgiveness. After a couple of days, the album appeared on iTunes and in less than a day became the most popular in several dozen countries. Medusa looked at what happened around Lemonade in the first week of its existence - how the fans of the singer were looking for a mistress Jay Z, and famous comedians shot parodies for a film with Beyonca.

The reaction to the album

Lemonade songs have a clear feminist message. The Hollywood Reporter, like many other publications, called the album a revolutionary work created by African American for African American. True, the Mic publication noticed that few women worked on the plate - there are only six of them among 55 authors, and among 17 producers - only two. The publication notes that this is not surprising, given that now even the Billboard Hot 100 per 92 percent consists of men.

However, for Beyonca Billboard chart, a long -conquered peak. All five of its previous studio albums debuted in it in the first place. If Lemonade debuts the first line in the chart (and it will most likely be ), then Beyoncé will become the only performer who has achieved such success. Another suspect according to the fans was the singer Rita Ora, who until some time collaborated with the Roc Nation label owned by Jay Z. The girl in the photographs found the suspension, probably with the letter “j” (most likely it was the letter “r”, but it turned over). However, Rita Ora rejected the accusations of Beyoncé fans.
