The Blessed Fire from Jerusalem was the first in Russia to meet Stavropol, and then Moscow

The Blessed Fire, which miraculously set off in the Temple of the Holy Sepulcher in Jerusalem on the Great Saturday, arrived in the Stavropol by Easter celebrations by Spetsrais, the members of the Stavropol delegation informed the Interfax agency. A little later, according to TASS, a wonderful fire with a special brittle arrived from Jerusalem to Moscow.

A special capsule with fire will be delivered to the Patriarchal Easter service personally by the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Foundation Andrei First -Called Vladimir Yakunin.

In the near future, particles of fertile fire will appear in the temples of Moscow, the Moscow region and other regions of Russia. In addition, in the year of the 1000th anniversary of the Russian presence on Athos, representatives of the Andrei First-Called Foundation will deliver the fertile fire to the Holy Mount Athos

According to a representative of the Stavropol delegation, who arrived from Jerusalem to the regional center, "the first among the regions of the Russian Federation, where the Blessed Fire was delivered, was the Stavropol Territory." This year, it will be delivered not only to the main temples of the local diocese of the Russian Orthodox Church, but also to small settlements, for example, Bekeshevskaya and Essentuki villages, the interlocutor of Interfax said.

A group of pilgrims out of eight years for several years delivers the Blessed Fire to the region. The delegation is headed by a member of the Federation Council Mikhail Afanasov.

The solemn service on Easter night in the Kazan Cathedral of Stavropol will be headed by the ruling bishop of the Stavropol Metropolis of the Russian Orthodox Church, Metropolitan and Nevinnomysski Cyril. Then, from the cathedral, the shrine will go to all the temples of the Metropolis.
