Seven more people were detained on May Day and after it

In addition to four people, Elena Sinelnikova, holding an anarchist banner, was detained at the Meshchansky police station from the “Progressive May Day” during the procession. The organizers of the event reported this. In addition, after the end of the event, when the participants were leaving the territory, the police blocked several people with barriers and detained them using force. All of them were also taken to the Meshchansky police station. In addition to Sinelnikova, Dmitry Yartsev, Sasha Krikkerik, Marta Khromova, Asta Kunz, and two other people who refused to identify themselves were detained. According to the organizers, Yartsev did not hold any symbols that could become a formal reason for arrest.

The first four detainees brought to OVD-InfoNa are currently drawing up protocols on violation of the procedure for holding public events (Part 5 of Article 20.2 of the Administrative Code).
