The website of an online publication was hacked for criticizing the authorities

The Krasnoye Znamya Internet resource remains inaccessible after a DDoS attack that occurred on April 29. On May 4, the editor of the publication Valery Chernitsyn wrote about this in his blog .

Initially, the site was an electronic version of the oldest Komi newspaper, Krasnoye Znamya, which has always criticized the regional authorities. In October 2014, the newspaper was closed, according to the 7×7 website, due to economic difficulties and conflicts with the administration of the head of the republic, Vyacheslav Gaizer. Now Gaizer, as well as a number of his former subordinates, are in jail on charges of fraud and creating a criminal community.

After the termination of the activities of the "Red Banner", the electronic version of the newspaper continued its work. The attack on the site happened after critical publications regarding the new regional authorities - the acting head of Komi Sergey Gaplikov and the deputy head of the administration Alexandra Bushuyeva.
