The trial of Dmitry Demushkin has begun

In the Nagatinskiy District Court of Moscow, a trial has begun against the leader of the nationalists, Dmitry Demushkin. He is accused under part 1 of Art. 282 of the Criminal Code on the fact of posting materials on VKontakte. At today's trial, the prosecutor announced the indictment, and Demushin said he did not plead guilty.

Demushkin also told OVD-Info that so far the process is being held behind closed doors, but he intends to appeal this to the Moscow City Court. In addition, nationalist Georgy Borovikov, who is now serving a term, was brought to court today. Borovikov stated in court that he did not give official evidence against Demushkin, and that what is indicated in the case as evidence was the materials of his conversation with a certain FSB officer.

The most scandalous episode of the accusation against Demushkin in this case was the repost of a photo from the Russian March with a slogan agreed with the police during the march. According to Demushkin, it turned out in court that the examination of this slogan was not even based on the photograph presented in the case.
