An extraordinary story is the history of the USSR that we taught at school, and also on the programs of Soviet and then Russian television or other official sources. I dare to declare: the vast majority of us for a very long period of time were confident in the "holiness" of the Soviet Union. However, we were treacherously deceived: the USSR turned out to be not no state-liberator, but by the aggressor state. Almost all of us became victims of well -thought -out casuistic Soviet propaganda.
Can you recall that someone once in Soviet times said about the joint parade of divisions of the Workers 'and Peasants' Red Army and Nazi Germany on September 22, 1939 in Brest? Or about Molotov’s Pact - Ribbentrop? No! This referred to the category of "anti -Soviet agitation and propaganda", for which it was possible to get from 3 to 7 years of maximum security camps. The background of this event is as follows: on September 2, 1939, the day after the outbreak of World War II, the German army began the shelling of the Brest Fortress, where the Polish armed forces were then located. The army of General Guderian stormed the Polish garrison of the fortress for almost three weeks. The resistance turned out to be broken when the 29th Panzer Brigade of the Red Army entered Brest under the command of General Krivoshein, according to the secret additional protocol for the Soviet-German non-aggression agreement. The next day, the command decided to arrange a parade of units of the Union armies - the Wehrmacht and the Red Army. Two commanders in the front uniform rose to the wooden rostrum: a graduate of the Kazan Tank School Hinz Guderian and a graduate of the Frunze Military Academy Semen Krivoshein. Such is such an unlucky story that Russian propaganda is now diligently silent.
What followed this? And this was followed by: occupation by the Soviet Union of Western Ukraine and Western Belarus. In the language of Soviet propaganda, it was called the "reunification of peoples", although no one asked these peoples whether they want to reunite? On November 1, 1939, the Supreme Soviet of the USSR adopted the Law of the USSR "On the inclusion of Western Ukraine in the Union of SSR" (and on November 2 - a similar law on Western Belarus). From June 28 to July 3, the Soviet Union occupied Bessarabia and Northern Bukovina, after the Romanian king accepted the ultimatum of Moscow. By the summer of 1940, pro -Soviet governments were formed in the Baltic republics (not without the participation of Moscow agents), and on July 21–22 the Seims of Lithuania and Latvia and the State Assembly of Estonia adopted the declarations for the entry of these countries into the USSR. Neither in Bessarabia, nor in Lithuania, nor in Latvia, nor in Estonia, no one asked the people, they want to join the Soviet Union, where they have already built a large and strong gulag, or not?
Guided by the dubious arguments of the security of its borders, the Soviet Union, after a primitive provocation with the artillery of its territory , began a war against Finland on November 30, 1939 . This war continued until March 12, 1940, and as a result, Finland lost 11% of its territory and the second largest city of Vyborg in the country. 430 thousand Finnish residents lost their homes and property, which were forced to abandon in the seized territory. The beginning of hostilities led to the fact that in December 1939 the USSR was expelled from the League of Nations as an aggressor. Then there were many military conflicts around the world and apotheosis - Afghanistan.
History is not only the relationship of states, but also the relationship of the people with the authorities
Russia "dignifiedly" accepted the baton from the Soviet Union, actually occupying South Ossetia and Abkhazia in 2008, and in 2014 annexing Crimea and de facto establishing control over part of Eastern Ukraine. All this is again presented to the world community as "reunion" and "will of the people." Today, the country is preparing to celebrate the 71st anniversary of the end of the Great Patriotic War, turning the day of victory into another bacchanalia of militarism. On the streets of cities, mummers hung with orders and medals appeared, but had nothing to do with the Great Patriotic War. As Vasily Shukshin wrote in the early 70s: “I still determined who the front-line soldier and who was the rat. They didn’t wear the first awards, they drank silently on the 8th and 9th ... And the rats of schools in the orders, and about their exploits in newspapers. Now you rarely meet the front-line soldier ...” “It is rarely met the front-line soldier in the 1970s, and now in the 2016 yard! Who then walks, hung with rewards? To the one who was at the front in 1945, let the eighteen -year -olds today should be 89, but we see other "veterans": those who are 80 or even 70 years old! What kind of fools is all this designed?
History is not only the relations of states, but also the relationship of the people with the authorities. Such a picture is emerging in Russia: the people and power are married, but they live separately, they will still not going to go to the registry office in order to submit for divorce. These family ties begin to burden him. She pretends to love him, and he pretends to believe her. How much it will continue - no one knows. “The problem is not in the state, the problem itself is the state itself,” said the American President Ronald Reagan once. The Russian authorities and the president of the country, obviously, categorically disagree with this. They believe that Russia is their power plus the robbery of the whole country. We turn over another page of Russian history, and we are opening a new one - brown.
