Наверное, надо сказать пару слов о сборной Латвии. Ее базовый клуб — Динамо Рига. Это удивительный клуб. Как правило, он проигрывает. Но зато, когда выигрывает — может отыграться с 0:5, как пару раз бывало в этом сезоне. На одном из таких матчей я был на «Арене Рига» — показывал нашему коллеге хоккей. Тот был на хоккее в первый раз и был абсолютно поражен, что можно с такого счета отыграться (там, правда, не с 0:4, там с 1:4). Матч был с «Автомобилистом».

Вообще довольно странно сидеть в Латвии и болеть за сборную России. Правда, из нас двоих Паша даже знает латышский и в случае чего будет ругаться на этом языке (правда, Паш?).
А еще хотелось сказать, что если вы думаете, что в Латвии День победы — это не праздник, то почитайте наш репортаж . Это праздник, просто очень другой.

Привет, надеюсь, у вас такая же прекрасная погода, как и в Риге, где натурально лето. Вчера, например, часть редакции ездила на море загорать и купаться (ну, так, ножки помочить). And about hockey. В сборной перестановки — Дадонов командирован к Дацюку и Мозякину, Панарин получил в прошлом матче повреждение, Кулемин едет из НХ на помощь.

Вообще сборная России в День победы играет чуть ли не каждый год. В прошлом году обыграли белоруссов (7:0), в позапрошлом — Швейцарию (5:0). А вот три года назад проиграли французам (1:2). Это еще один намек на то, что сегодня, кхм, возможна интрига.

Good afternoon, friends. Вот ведь парадокс: сборная Латвии играет на этом турнире очень хорошо, сборная России — так себе, а по итогам двух встреч у России больше очков (3), чем у Латвии (2). Зато Латвия еще ни разу не проигрывала в основное время! Так что, кхм, возможна интрига.
