The militants attacked a checkpoint in Grozny

Six police officers were injured at the checkpoint in Grozny during the attack of two armed people, Interfax was told in the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation in the Chechen Republic. Earlier, the agency’s source announced the death of one policeman, but officially this information was not confirmed.

"Today, at the checkpoint 138, on the outskirts of Grozny, police officers at the cost of their own health prevented a passage to the city of two armed people who had grenades and explosive devices with them. According to preliminary data, six police officers were injured in the destruction of the attackers, three of whom were seriously injured," the press service employee said.

On May 9, secondary employees of the Consolidated detachment of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Republic of Bashkortostan were served at the checkpoint.

An employee of the press service emphasized that none of the police died.

Law enforcement officers managed to quickly establish the individuals of the militants - according to the results of examinations, including the genetic: "This is Shamil Dzhanaraliev, born in 1989, and Akhmet Inalov, born in 1991, relatives took part in their identification."

Earlier, Interfax, citing a source, announced the self -departure of one and the militants and the death of one policeman seconded from Bashkiria. Another number of victims was also called - four people.
