In Krasnoyarsk, they prevented the procession of the Immortal Regiment, in Novosibirsk, portraits of Stalin appeared on the streets
In Krasnoyarsk, the public action "Immortal Regiment", which was held simultaneously with the solemn parade on May 9, the authorities decided to synchronize with the Moscow action and transfer it to 3 hours of the afternoon.
People who went to the march of the "Immortal Regiment" according to the already established tradition in the morning, found a police cordon, which did not allow them, as usual, to follow the parade of military personnel and military equipment.
The police stated that the official event would take place later and it was there that residents should have come there. In response, the cries of "shame" were heard, "Why did you not take a weapon to defend us."
Later, the police lost to the pressure of the participants of the Immortal Regiment campaign and the column moved under the supervision of law enforcement officials.
In Novosibirsk, posters with the image of Joseph Stalin appeared on the central streets on the eve of May 9.
The local branch of the Communist Party decided to congratulate the city inhabitants in this way, and local authorities did not interfere with this.
On the website of Change.org there was a petition addressed to the mayor of Novosibirsk Anatoly Loktu (member of the Communist Party), with a request to remove posters from the streets of the city. The mayor did not react to the petition.
