The prosecutor's office of the Voronezh region sent to the Investigative Committee for verification information about the forced hospitalization without a court decision to a psychiatric hospital of a member of the Democratic Union, the editor of the Kramola newspaper and an active participant in the protests in Voronezh, Dmitry Vorobyevsky. Dmitry Vorobyevsky was forcibly taken to the hospital on May 6, 2016. According to Olga Gnezdilova, Vorobyevsky's lawyer, in the hospital her client was tied by the arms and legs to the bed, he was also given injections and pills, without giving the names of the drugs.

On May 9, a message about the forced placement of Vorobyevsky in a psycho-neurological hospital appeared on the Amnesty International website.
