The court extended the arrest until May 23 for the architect accused of breaking his shoulder strap

The Tverskoy District Court of Moscow extended until May 23, 2016 the term of arrest of architect Sergei Akhmetov. this on Twitter reports Polina Nemirovskaya . Akhmetov is accused of using violence against a policeman, who expressed himself in disrupting his shoulder strap, during a gathering against the verdict against Alexei Navalny and Pyotr Ofitserov on July 18, 2013 in Moscow on Tverskaya Street.

Akhmetov himself, who lived in St. Petersburg before his arrest, claims that he has not been to Moscow since 2011. There was no evidence provided to confirm that he went to Moscow on July 18 or on some previous days. On the contrary, there is information that in the evening of that day he spoke with his mother via Skype, and, according to her, the situation around him was the same as usual.

Akhmetov was allegedly identified from a photo on Facebook, moreover, by the shape of his ears and lower lip, but the attacker, of whose actions Akhmetov is accused, was wearing black glasses and a cap during the gathering.

Akhmetov's lawyer Gadzhi Aliyev told Mediazona that on May 6, the investigator in Akhmetov's case, Vladimir Lebedev, told him that the material of the pre-investigation check on the disclosure of preliminary investigation data had been isolated against him.

Haji Aliyev noted that he did not sign non-disclosure documents and was not warned about criminal liability. The lawyer suggested that in the future, a non-disclosure agreement with allegedly his signature may well appear.
