The reason for blocking, apparently, are the decisions of the Prosecutor General's Office of Russia, adopted back in September 2015. Earlier it was reported that the Prosecutor's Office of the Crimea collects materials for the complete blocking of the portal.

The Crimean prosecutor's office explained the blocking of the Internet publication by some “publications of extremist content aimed at inciting interethnic and interethnic hatred” published by him. This is stated in a message published on the morning of May 12 on the agency's website. Specific publications are not named.

According to the prosecutor's office, ““Crimea. Realii” carried out informational support for actions aimed at violating the territorial integrity of the Russian Federation, propaganda for the so-called “civil blockade of Crimea”, etc.” The report also emphasizes that earlier a criminal case was opened against one of the employees of the publication for incitement to separatism (under the second part of Article 280.1 of the Criminal Code).
