The film crew of the Rossiya TV channel came under fire from the Ukrainian military on the Donetsk-Gorlovka highway. This is reported by the website "Vesti".
None of the journalists were hurt. According to VGTRK correspondent Stanislav Nazarov, the fire was from mortars, grenade launchers and small arms.
There are no comments from the Ukrainian side regarding the incident yet.
The Ministry of Defense of the Donetsk People's Republic reported that there were no casualties or injuries due to the actions of the DPR servicemen, who covered the journalists with their bodies during the shelling and took them out of the danger zone. Now the employees of the TV company are in a safe place, nothing threatens their lives.
