“Activist in a Putin mask” received 20 days

Activist Roman Roslovtsev received 20 days of administrative arrest for several walks in a Vladimir Putin mask and a poster "I'm not afraid of 212.1" near the Kremlin. (Meaning the criminal article punishing repeated violations at rallies). Now the 8th part of Art. 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (for "repeated violations" when participating in a public event).

In April, the Tverskoy Court fined Roslovtsev a total of 30,000 rubles for two previous outings. Roslovtsev faces a criminal case under Article 212.1. The activist says that he deliberately creates an absurd situation in which law enforcement officers will be forced to open a criminal case against him, providing for up to five years in prison, on a curious occasion.
