
Mechel metallurgical company increased tax on VTB, Gazprombank and Sberbank loans, Vedomosti write with reference to the company's financial report in 2015.
This is done as part of debt restructuring, the newspaper indicates. So, Mechel up to 100% minus one action increased the share of the Yakutugul shares - earlier in the pledge were 50% plus two shares of a mining company.
According to the Chelyabinsk Metallurgical Plant (CMC), the deposit was increased from 20% to 66.66% of the shares, according to South Kuzbass - from 50% to 75% plus four shares), according to the Chelyabinsk Metallurgical Combine (CMC, from 20% to 66.66%). For other enterprises, pledges are increased to 33–80%. In addition, two more assets were given as a deposit - Poset and Temryuk ports (25% of each shares).
If Mechel becomes bankrupt, VTB will take 37.5% plus one share of Mechel-Maining, 21.66% ChMK, 25% of the South Kuzbass, 25% of Yakutulu, Korshunovsky GOK and Temryuk port. Sberbank will receive 25% of Mechel-Maining and BMK, Gazprombank will become the owner of the Poset, IZHSTALIA port, ChMK and several others-25% of the shares of each enterprise.
According to mid -May, the total debt of Mechel amounted to 447 billion rubles, clean debt - 507 billion rubles. Under the conditions of restructuring, the company will have to pay 7.35 billion rubles to state -owned banks from April 2017.
