The British created a shooting alarm for bicycles (VIDEO)

British inventor Yannick Reid designed an original alarm system for bicycles in the format of an inconspicuous mini-gun, which is attached to the frame with ordinary Velcro.

According to N+1 , the device called Bike Mine is a metal frame in which a spring mechanism and a blank charge with a detonator are fixed. The shock mechanism is released using a titanium wire, which is fixed to the moving part of the bicycle. When an attempt is made to steal the wire, the lock pulls out.

The device is charged with pyrotechnic cartridges, which are freely available and safe when used correctly. When the alarm is triggered, a bang sounds at a volume of 150 decibels (for comparison: the noise level of a jackhammer is 120 decibels).

As the author notes, this is quite enough to scare the thief and raise the alarm. According to him, Bike Mine is suitable not only for transport, but also for protecting real estate such as garages, sheds and fences.

To raise funds for industrial production of the repellent device, Reed launched a crowdfunding campaign. To get an alarm with three charges, you need to donate 49 pounds sterling (about 4,600 rubles) to the project.
