The all -knowing Internet reports that, as of the beginning of 2014, the total number of sites on the network was about 860 million, and in 2015 their number exceeded the sign of 1 billion. The pace of creation of new sites is estimated (clearly, very approximately) of 1 million new resources per day.
So one new site is truly no more than a grain of sand in the desert or drops at sea. And of course, there is neither a reason nor the opportunity to talk about everyone. There are, however, exceptions. A new, very curious project attracted our attention. This is the site "Neurotechnology.rf" ( www.neurotechnologies.ru ). Firstly, the subject itself is modern and relevant, secondly, the project has become a logical continuation of the activities of the neurotechnology working group under the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia, thirdly, the site is headed by Alexei Paevsky , a well-known scientific journalist and a popularizer of science, which has been part of the editorial council of the newspaper of the TRV-hunger. The site itself, of course, is still young and not too mature, but it works actively and dynamically.
Using a long-standing and good acquaintance, our correspondent took a blitz interview from Alexei.
- Alexey, why neurotechnology? It’s boring to live without a new-interesting or need need?
- To begin with - not only neurotechnology. The human brain is still studied even worse than space. And the scientific journalist, the more new, the more interesting. On the day (!) About a dozen or two new scientific articles on the topic of the brain (low assessment) come out. So neuronauki, neurotechnology and neurology as a medical discipline. Plus - you're right. There is a need. According to experts, in the 30-X-Godax, now in the miPe, the non-use is not possible to have a time, the XAPACKENTED INTENTED INTEPFECEDS AND TEXNALLY (Actually, we can see its first signs now).
Definitions of neurotechnology:- What is the background of the site?
- The working group "Neurotechnology" has been conducting its activities under the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia for several years. This group arose at the moment when it became clear that in the near future we were waiting for interesting events and real breakthroughs in the field of neuronac and neurotechnologies. Domestic science, technology and business were not going to stay away.
The emergence of neuromorphic cognitive systems that can turn our ideas about computers, which will make a person and the information environment that surrounds him, is not far off. On the other hand, we will learn how to accurately adjust the work of our brain, create methods for treating blindness and deafness. The cognitive abilities of people will not be left without attention: training technologies will change, methods of improving memory will appear. They will learn to treat neurodegenerative diseases. The “Brain - Computer” interfaces are already appearing, which cope with the task of managing the “power of thought” technique, which means that paralyzed people can help live a full -fledged life.
These and other aspects of the new civilizational structure were designed to implement and promote a working group at the Ministry of Education and Science.
Meanwhile, such large -scale work as the creation of a new (from the technological point of view) of the company cannot be conducted back and should provide the maximum participation of everyone who is interested. That is why we have created a resource that not only informs about the latest achievements and the history of the development of the neuronac wide circles of our society, but should also become a platform for the exchange of the opinions of professionals in this field, and, as it turned out, Russian scientists and doctors will also learn something new about their or adjacent field from our site.
- The idea is clear. Witted in the air. Can you formulate the main goals and objectives of the site?
-The goals of our resource are many as many as four.
Firstly, we contribute to the promotion and popularization of the very direction of neuronac and neurotechnologies in Russia as part of the National Technological Initiative “Neuronettes-2035 018”. That is, we create the necessary information background and the corresponding mood of the company. For those who come to this area to work, and those who will use its achievements, as soon as possible began to believe that neurotechnology is normal, familiar and already here.
Secondly, we make a portal for the sake of the portal, for the sake of the resource itself, for the sake of ourselves, finally, since we are interested in everything that happens in this area. We strive to become the main information platform in Russia on this topic - both for a wide range of interested and specialists. And in the future, to provide them (specialists) with a communication area, universal and professional. An additional reason is to combine science with medicine, which in our country are especially disconnected.
Thirdly, we generally do what no one did before. There is no living information resource on this topic in Runet now. And what happened in my head is not at all anywhere in the world. And this is always a challenge to do this. It is important that the brains do not overgrown with moss and that errors do not allow to be thrown.
And fourthly (hidden goal), in our team of professionals in scientific journalism and popularization of science, a maximum of three. To be considered very strict, then one. And we hope to grow a new generation on this project - a young shit that will erase us from the face of the earth ... Well, it will not shake, but replenish our ranks. I will work a little more for the good of popularizing science. (Laughs.)
- Who is in the team, imagine the main characters.
- The editor -in -chief is your humble servant, Alexei Paevsky. Deputy is a young but very talented scientific and medical journalist Anna Khorozhaya from Volgograd, who is responsible for content, and Maxim Patrushev from Kaliningrad, director of the BFU BFU BFU named after I. Kant. Maxim is responsible for communications with the neurosobility and the working group under the ministry.
Scientific correspondents - students and graduate students working in the neuronac, and ... young journalists who actively and successfully delve into the intricacies of neuronauki: Victoria Zyulina and Svetlana Zavalishina (Moscow), Anastasia Natrova (Volgograd), Alexander Vasiliev, Anastasia Sheshukova and Vera Tuliningrad). Technical support is carried out by Sergey Bulanov from Kaliningrad.
As you can see, the project is not closed in Moscow or at one or two traditional scientific centers, but has a significant geographical scope. And we hope that he will cover the whole country.
- Do you officially represent a working group at the Ministry of Education and Science or, as they say, on a voluntary basis? What are the mechanisms of your interaction?
-We are supported by the working group (so far by organizational and authority), the I. Kanta PAC helps us, since neurothematics is also actively developing at its chemical and biological institute. We are looking for funding, but on a voluntary basis we have already achieved something. And there is attendance, and, as I hope, the initial authority of the community was won, we are offered cooperation. We are at the very beginning of the journey. And we really hope that in six months or a year the text of the interview will have to be rewritten completely. Wait and see. More precisely, we will not live, but work.
- Success!
