In February, Markin says that the ex-head of the Yukos was put on the wanted list along the interpol line, and from there, from the headquarters in Lyon, they immediately report that this is a lie. The request is rejected. A month and a half later, the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Russian Federation informs the transfer of “certain additional materials” regarding Khodorkovsky, but there is no answer and never will be. In Moscow, they do not calm down, and at the end of April, “a source familiar with the situation” assures us that after receiving new “information” they can revise. From France they immediately write that Russian colleagues were not requested.
The story of Khodorkovsky and Interpol is a children's game of stomachs and a rude adult joke. Russian prosecutors chasing foreign, trying to transfer papers to them, in which the whole truth is said "for newly discovered circumstances", and they are evading and do not take documents. If you translate their dialogue from the language of inter -prosecutorial communication to universal, then Interpol directly sends Bastrykin and the Seagull to hell. However, our security forces are a stubborn people, and the playground is again and again announced by the selected swearing at an impeccable bureaucratic hairdryer.
However, there is little funny in this plot.
It is clear that the Russian authorities with their inherent prosecutors do not care about how it looks, and in the course of a sluggish scandal the tasks are solved by the most diverse. Firstly, pardoned by Putin is practically outlawed, which is addressed primarily to the domestic audience, but also to Mikhail Borisovich himself. Secondly, the Kremlin thus reacts to all kinds of news related to the political activity of the emigrant, and not only. In particular, the next attempt somehow, or something, to reach Interpol was completed shortly after the Gaaga District Court abolished the decision to pay 50 billion dollars to the shareholders of the Yukos.
Having digested this happy news, how to resist the temptation to contact Lyon again: what if you're lucky? And just as suddenly and inexplicably as in the Hague. It’s even strange that was not lucky.
Yesterday, a source familiar with the situation again woke up to life, and with the same message as always. A fresh exclusive was sent to Interpol in the Khodorkovsky case, and this time, taking into account the previous mistakes, “by agreement with the General Secretariat”, so that they do not turn out on his go. This information is still clarified , if not refuted, the official representative of the GP of the Russian Federation Alexander Kurennoy. According to him, only part of the requested additional documents have been sent to Lyon so far, "and if questions arise," it is planned to hold the next round of consultations based on the results of their consideration. " In other words, in Moscow they are now doing everything possible to stretch in time a miracle of human communication with Interpol. At first they seem to intrigue, then patiently waited, and then they are ready to enter into negotiations, and the longer they last, the better. Preferably at least until the fall.
There are reasons.
The fact is that in the nearest parliamentary elections there are 25 candidates who are supported by Open Russia. These are very different people, united, in essence, one goal: to become politicians. More precisely, to make talking about themselves, despite the fact that they have practically no real chances of victory. However, life in the country is hardly ending this fall, therefore their political future is unpredictable. Anyone can happen, and if academician Sakharov became the people's unlucky union that we lost, then why shouldn't Maria, for example, Baronova, be the chairman of the coming Duma? Of course, after Putin’s departure, but who can even say with confidence today that this will never happen?
Khodorkovsky plays long, and the authorities, preoccupied with momentary problems, tries to stop this game. Apparently, this is now the meaning of the game in the interpol stomachs in order to call Khodorkovsky a killer, and be considered people from his list to accomplices. How to take it hostage, albeit without exposing immediate repression. The elections very soon, the election struggle has actually begun, it is enough to recall the documentary, roughly speaking, films about Navalny and Kasyanov, to guess that the Kremlin is thinking about the unsystematic opposition and what arguments are stored.
They are preparing for parliamentary battles both in the Investigative Committee and the Prosecutor General’s Office, filling Lyon with their “additional materials”. This game costs a candle. After all, if the case burns the case and the employees of Interpol, abandoning the previous practice of an immediate sending on a hiking erotic journey, will agree to at least briefly hold accusatory texts, then any Kiselev-Solovyov will be able to elevate his angry voice against the “killer” and his “improvised”. Then, in the fight against disagreements, another argument will appear among the Kremlin propagandists - along with bullets, hidden cameras, cakes, green and other means with which television people and other indifferent citizens save Russia. Agree, this will be a strong polemic move: here, they say, and in the distant Lyon they still read our papers and look at Khodorkovsky on the wanted list.
The main thing is not to be rejected from the threshold. They agreed to hold it at least for a week, and there the fresh portion of the revelations will be fooled, after it the next month in a month. It is so important that it is not a pity for any works and it is not at all scary to put yourself on a disgrace. Once, many years ago, probably, the national leader was still slightly ashamed, playing with nodules, commanded to stop hysteria, and now what is there. Now you can not stop.
