Eight more participants in the action in memory of the victims of the deportation of the Crimean Tatars were detained in Crimea

In Sudak and the village of Lgovskoye, Kirovsky district of Crimea, eight participants in a motor rally timed to coincide with the Day of Remembrance of the victims of the deportation of Crimean Tatars were detained. this Zair Smedlyaev, a member of the CEC of the Crimean Tatar Kurultai, reported on his Facebook page.

According to him, a group of young people in cars with Crimean Tatar symbols stopped near the monument to the victims of deportation in Sudak, wishing to take part in the memorial action "Light a fire in your heart." At that moment, four protesters were detained. They were taken to the city police station.

In the village of Lgovskoye, Kirovsky District, four participants in the memory action were also detained, and protocols were drawn up against them. What exactly the young people are accused of is not yet clear. Tomorrow at 10 am, the cases of the detained Crimean Tatars will be considered in the Kirovsky District Court.
