The Moscow office of Russia's largest wine importer, Mistral Alco, is being searched, Vedomosti reports , citing company co-owner Beslan Agrba.
Investigative actions are carried out by employees of the Investigative Committee and the FSB, while employees are not allowed out of the company’s office, and the company’s lawyer is not allowed inside. According to preliminary data, investigative actions are being carried out in connection with a possible investigation regarding the circulation of excise stamps.
Mistral Alko is the largest importer of wine in Russia at the end of 2015, the publication notes. The company imported about 18.56 million liters of alcohol into the country and occupied 11.1% of the Russian import wine market.
