Rosgosstrakh will buy 5% in the authorized capital of the National Rating Agency (NRA), this decision was made by the insurer’s board of directors on May 19, according to the company’s data.

To obtain accreditation, an agency must have an authorized capital of at least 50 million rubles. So far, the authorized capital of the NRA is 100,000 rubles, as follows from the Unified State Register of Legal Entities as of December 31, 2015.

This is not the first time that Rosgosstrakh has participated in the capital of rating agencies. In November, he became a shareholder of the newly created Analytical Credit Rating Agency (ACRA).
