In life, there are situations when questions that you used to ask yourself begin to ask you. So many people now ask me: “Why do you need these primaries and elections?”, “Do you believe that you can change something?”, “Everything is decided in advance, do you really think that you can fight this machine?”
I already answered these questions, answered myself when I decided to participate in a preliminary vote. Yes, I believe. Moreover, I am sure that it is possible. I know this from the experience of work both in the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and in the public ward. We are used to believing that in the “top”, in politics they decide everything for us. And often this is true, but only because we do not take part in these decisions. Sometimes we do not have such an opportunity, but sometimes we ourselves do not want it. The reasons are different, but the result is one - they decide without us.
When you discard doubts and distrust and begin to engage in participation in resolving the issue - you see that you can change the situation. Sometimes the question is not solved only because no one needs it. There is an interested person and the case moves from the dead point. Sometimes the question is not to resolve in the region, because it depends on Moscow and then, once, you take the opportunity to ask this issue to the president of the country and the payments of benefits for adopted children are preserved. I went through all these examples on my own experience and that is why I know that the opportunity often does not become a result only because it is not fully used.
I am not a member of United Russia and not even a supporter of this party. She offered to participate in preliminary voting to everyone. I am used to using the possibilities. And for the party, this, in a sense, will be a verification of compliance with the result of statements.
As the secretary of the Public Chamber of the Kirov Region, I quite critically evaluated the activities of the deputy corps. And he even said that the Public Chamber would not be needed if the State Duma and the Legislative Assembly would be currently representative authorities. And I believe that they can and should be such.
For me now one question is important - do you believe?
