It so happened that important events in the art of chamber muscles have recently been associated primarily with a young drive. The leader “Return” is the leader, numerous projects of the cellist Boris Andrianov also set the heat. And here is a precious ensemble from the violinist Anne-sofa Mutter, the cellist Linna Harrell and the pianist Efim Bronfman, who played in the Tchaikovsky hall, contrasted the energy and search, lightness and aristocratic beauty.

The Trio Matra of the old school performed in the framework of the open art festival “Cherry Forest”, monitoring the selection and solidity of its few events from the world of classical music and managed to include a concert in the now European tour of eminent artists. The most high -profile achievement of the festival in this area, of course, should be the tour of the la Scala, held in cooperation with the Big Theater at the beginning of the next season . But in the final chords of this, the efforts of the festival were added delicacy overtones.

The concert program stood a classic of the genre: the Beethoven trio No. 7 “Archduke” dedicated to the Patriot of Rudolf Austrian, and the trio “Memory of the great artist”, written by Tchaikovsky under the impression of the death of a friend Nikolai Rubinstein. On the BIS - Skerso from Shostakovich, who also mourned his friend Ivan Solletinsky.

Nevertheless, the main mood of the evening was not sorrow, but joy. The Mutter - Bronfman - Harrell Trio is not a long -long and tightly knocked out ensemble, and the Commonwealth of the Masters who gathered to put up together for their own pleasure, and the old man Harrell, who forgot the scenes of Tchaikovsky, only added the home atmosphere of this pretty situation.

The roles in the ensemble were distributed as follows: the unfading model beauty Mutter, who celebrates the 40th anniversary of life on the stage this year (from the moment, at the age of 13, she debuted under Karayan’s stick),-this is the will and rational, Harrell, and Bronfman is an enveloping power, then quiet witchcraft and sterling secret. The musicians did not set the goal of shining, sparkling and conquering, slow episodes turned out to be more interesting than bravuras, the music grew more likely tender shoots, and not a lush garden. On Tchaikovsky, where a wonderful charming, freely howl of two strings was adjacent to a restrained and unreliable sob, the musicians completely warm up the hall.

“Cherry Forest”, which has been responsible for the glamorous component of our musical life for many years, at the present time continues to steal the audience with free champagne and demonstrate the unattainable art of a bouquet of lilac and peonies placed on the stage in three -liter banks. How much more the glamorous wrapper will last, it is difficult to say, but the main thing is that there is a solid filling under it.
